2009 Sheep and Wool Events

Here’s a list of the events we plan to (or would like to) attend in 2009:

Jacob Sheep Breeders Association Annual Meeting
Michigan - June, 2009
We won't be able to make it to the JSBA meeting but it will be worth attending if you live nearby.  For more details visit the Jacob Sheep Breeders Association website at: www.jsba.org

Black Sheep Gathering
Eugene, OR - June 19 - 21, 2009
We’ll be showing sheep and wool at the Black Sheep Gathering.  The BSG is one of the premier sheep shows in the country and features only wool breeds and their fiber.  Location is the Lane County Fairgrounds and admission is free.

Navajo-Churro Sheep Association Annual Meeting
Farmington, NM - June 19, 2009 - Will be held in conjunction with Sheep Is Life
We'll be attending the Black Sheep Gathering this weekend but wish we could attend.  For more details visit the Navajo-Churro Sheep Association website at: www.navajo-churrosheep.com or the Sheep Is Life website at: www.navajolifeways.org

Washington County Fair
Hillsboro, OR - July 23 - 26, 2009
A great old fashioned county fair with free admission.  We'll be showing sheep and wool.  For more details visit the WC Fair's website at: www.faircomplex.com

Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival
Canby, OR - September 26 & 27, 2009
OFFF features a full spectrum of natural fibers (both animal and plant) from the animal and raw fiber to the finished product. It's conveniently located at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds and admission is free.  We'll be taking lambs for exhibit and will have a vendor booth.

PS Check with us regarding delivery of sheep and/or wool to any of the above events.
